Meet the founder
Hi, I’m Ksenia Enbom.
I’m Ksenia Enbom, a gemologist in Shenzhen and founder of ENBOM DIAMONDS, where I design custom lab-grown diamond jewellery in 18ct gold for clients in Australia and work directly with our verified factories to make it. You can bring me a photo or just an idea. I’ll help choose the stone and setting, then stay close to the work.
Message Ksenia ↗You don't need a finished design. A saved image or a description is enough.
Who am I?
I graduated with honours from the Faculty of Geology at Moscow State University. Today, my work is much more personal than a qualification on a page: I speak with you about the piece you want, choose stones, and visit the workshops making it.
You don’t need to arrive with a finished design. A saved image, a sketch or a description is enough for us to begin talking about what could be made. I want you to understand the choices before a piece goes into production, especially the ones that change how it looks when you wear it.
Why do I live and work in Shenzhen?
I live in Shenzhen because I want to be close to the workshops and stone suppliers I work with. I can compare stones in person, examine finished settings and visit a workshop while a piece is being made.
Video is useful when you and I are discussing an idea across the distance to Australia. I find it harder to judge a stone from video alone. If a setting or a joint needs another look, I can go to the workshop and see it for myself. I’ve written more about that part of my work in my account of Shenzhen’s Shuibei jewellery market.
How do I work with factories and stones?
I work directly with our own verified factories in Shenzhen. When choosing where to make a piece, I look at finished work: how the stones are set, whether the proportions feel right, and how carefully the small details have been finished. A convincing drawing matters, but I also want to see what the jeweller has actually made.
We make new pieces from a photo, a Pinterest reference or your own idea, subject to what can be made and the rights attached to a design. Once we’ve agreed on a direction, you can review a 3D model before casting. For our standard 18ct gold pieces, the finished jewellery is stamped 750 and checked by a testing laboratory in China. The report for a centre stone is a separate document.
What do I believe about buying a diamond?
Before paying for a stone, I would ask for an independent laboratory report, the exact cut, and an explanation of what a more expensive option gives you. A certificate written by a seller is not the same as an independent report.
I also look beyond carat weight. Two stones of the same weight can look different in size, so I pay attention to cut and measurements. If a VS1 or VS2 stone costs noticeably less than a VVS1 or VVS2, I would usually choose the VS grade; in most cases, I cannot see that clarity difference with the naked eye. I would rather put the money into a difference you can see than pay extra for a grade or a brand name on a simple design.
How can you reach me?
You can message me on WhatsApp, whether you have a clear design or just a piece you keep coming back to. Send me the photo, link or description, and tell me what you like about it. I’ll help you work out what to discuss next.
You can also find ENBOM DIAMONDS on Instagram and TikTok. If you’d like to read before getting in touch, start with my notes on checking an IGI report or making a new piece from a Pinterest reference.

Questions
Short answers.
Who is Ksenia Enbom?
I’m the founder of ENBOM DIAMONDS and a gemologist based in Shenzhen, China. I design custom jewellery with lab-grown diamonds for clients in Australia and work directly with our verified factories as each piece is made. I graduated with honours from the Faculty of Geology at Moscow State University.
Why does Ksenia Enbom work from Shenzhen?
I live in Shenzhen so I can visit the workshops and stone suppliers involved in my work. I choose stones in person and look closely at finished settings before deciding which workshop suits a design. For someone ordering from Australia, I can inspect details locally while we discuss the design online.
Can I ask for a natural diamond?
Yes. ENBOM DIAMONDS can source natural diamonds by request, subject to availability. Our policy is IGI reports for lab-grown diamonds and GIA reports for natural diamonds. An independent report is included in the price for a centre stone of 0.30 carat or larger; smaller, side and pavé stones are not individually reported.
What should I send Ksenia to start a conversation?
Send me a photo, a link, a sketch or a description on WhatsApp. Tell me which details you like and what you would change. We make new pieces inspired by references; we do not remodel existing jewellery. You do not need to settle every stone and setting detail before we talk.
Show me what you like, and I'll tell you what it costs.
A photo, a link, or a couple of words. The quote is free, and you pay when you decide to go ahead. 21 days from payment to dispatch, and delivery to Australia is included.
