How your order works
From your idea to your piece
A custom jewellery order with ENBOM DIAMONDS starts with a photo or idea. We discuss the design and quote the piece before payment. You then pay USD 200 towards the total, review a 3D model, approve it and pay the balance. We make and deliver the piece to Australia, usually within three to four weeks of the order.
Message Ksenia ↗The quote comes before any payment.
Step by step
The steps, in order.
- 01
Send a reference or idea
Share a photo, link or description of the new piece you want made. Tell us which details matter to you.
- 02
Discuss the design and quote
We discuss what can be made, agree the proposed specification and send a quote before payment. The quote is valid for 14 days.
- 03
Make the design payment
Pay USD 200 towards the total price so work on the 3D model can begin. This payment is refundable until work on the model starts.
- 04
Review the CAD model
Check the design before production and request changes if needed. Three revision rounds are included; each further round costs USD 50 and is added to the balance invoice.
- 05
Approve and pay the balance
Approve the model, then pay the invoiced balance within seven days. The design payment and balance are the only two payments for the piece.
- 06
Make and check the piece
Production takes 21 days from payment to dispatch. Eligible lab-grown centre diamonds come with an IGI report; an 18ct finished piece is stamped 750 and checked by a testing laboratory in China.
- 07
Arrange delivery
Delivery to Australia is included in the piece price. We carry the risk of loss or damage until the piece is delivered.
- 08
Pay nothing on delivery
Import duties, GST and clearance charges for delivery to Australia are included in the piece price. We pay them on your behalf through the carrier.
- 09
Receive the piece and access aftercare
The manufacturing-defect warranty runs for 24 months from delivery. One resize is free within 90 days of delivery.
How do I start with a photo or idea?
Send me a photo, a saved link or a description of the piece you have in mind. A custom engagement ring can begin with one detail, such as a stone shape or setting. We’ll discuss what can be made, along with the metal, stone and size, before preparing a quote for your design. This conversation happens before any payment. The quote is valid for 14 days, giving you time to review the specification and price before deciding.
What happens after I accept the quote?
The first payment is USD 200 for design, and it counts towards the total price. If you cancel before work on the 3D model begins, we refund it. Once that work starts, we retain it. You review the CAD model before production and can request three rounds of revisions at no extra cost. Further rounds cost USD 50 each and are added to the balance invoice. After you approve the model, we invoice the balance, due within seven days. Those are the only two payments for the piece.
How is the finished piece checked?
Production at our own verified factories in Shenzhen takes 21 days from payment to dispatch. 18ct gold is standard; 14ct is available on request. A lab-grown centre diamond of 0.30 carat or more comes with an independent IGI report included in the price. Smaller, side and pavé stones are not individually reported. An 18ct piece is stamped 750. A testing laboratory in China checks the finished piece and issues a certificate for it. That certificate is separate from the centre stone’s report.
When will it arrive, and who pays import charges?
Delivery to Australia is included in the price of the piece. From order to receipt in Australia, the usual total is three to four weeks. We carry the risk of loss or damage until delivery; if the piece is lost or damaged, we remake it or refund you in full.
Import duties, GST and clearance charges are included in the price as well, so you pay nothing on delivery. You remain the importer for customs purposes; we pay those charges on your behalf through the carrier.
What support is there after delivery?
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for 24 months from delivery. One resize is free within 90 days of delivery. For an accepted warranty claim, we pay return postage both ways. The Australian Consumer Law notice that accompanies this warranty is:
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: to cancel your service contract with us; and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

Questions
Short answers.
What if I don’t like the CAD?
Tell us what you want changed before approving it. Three rounds of CAD revisions are included in the order price. If you need further rounds, each costs USD 50 and is added to the balance invoice, so it does not create a third payment. Check the size, stone and setting before you give final approval.
Can I change the stone after paying?
Ask as soon as you have another stone in mind, ideally before approving the CAD model. We can discuss how the change affects the design and quote. The three included revisions cover changes to the model, but they do not establish a general right to substitute a stone after approval. What is possible then depends on the stage of production.
What happens if my piece is lost in transit?
We carry the risk of loss or damage until the piece is delivered. If it is lost or damaged before delivery, we remake it or refund you in full. Delivery to Australia is included in the price of the piece, so a loss in transit is not a cost you have to absorb.
Do I pay duty or GST?
No. Import duties, GST and clearance charges for delivery to Australia are included in the price of the piece, so you pay nothing on delivery. GST still applies under Australian rules; we pay it for you through the carrier.
Show me what you like, and I'll tell you what it costs.
A photo, a link, or a couple of words. The quote is free, and you pay when you decide to go ahead. 21 days from payment to dispatch, and delivery to Australia is included.
